THE UK'S VERY OWN 2 MANY DJS!!!

上週六BRAiNCHiLD一週年Party爆滿落幕, 除了要謝謝所有參與的朋友之外, 當然更要感謝我們好友田中知之(FPM)再度抽空來為BRAiNCHiLD的Party打碟!

現場田中的DJ魅力與實力再度展露無遺, 但最讓我驚喜的是, 當晚DJ Set的開場曲, 竟是自己近期相當喜愛的Steetlife DJs!


早在2006年時便已透過IDJ雜誌中"Ones To Watch"單元的介紹, 而認識到Steetlife DJs這個由Louis Gaston與Stewart Rowell所組成的DJ/Remix/製作組合(其中Stewart已有20年的DJ資歷), 但開始對他們大為留意, 卻已經是在去年聽過他們為CSS單曲Let's Make Love炮製的Remix版本之後. 除此之外, Streetlife DJs為Michael Jackson, Queens Of The Stone Age, Shinichi Osawa...等所炮製的Remix也都相當出色(可上他們的myspace試聽: http://www.myspace.com/sldjs)

剛在Kitsune旗下發表的單曲Gunn Crime的他們, 曾被DJ雜誌喻為"英國版2 Many DJs"(不過聽說兩人並不喜歡這個稱號), 正因為他們DJ Set能夠折衷地跨越年代與音樂風格, 所以大家務必要check一下由Streetlife DJs主理的Essential Mix!
